130 Tabebuia Trees Planted on Jalan Cikini Raya

Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-department has planted 130 tabebuia trees (Handroanthus chrysotrichus) along Jalan Cikini Raya, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-department Head, Mila Ananda stated, her side has planted those trees since early September 2019. Her side targeted to plant 200 tabebuia trees along Jalan Cikini Raya.

"In average, tabebuia tree's height is up to 10 meters and has strong branches and many leaves," he informed.
Near tabebuia trees, her side plans to plant shrubs such as ashoka plant since it has flowers.
"After planting tabebuia on Jalan Cikini Raya, we will continue to plant trees on Jalan Kramat Raya and Jalan Salemba Raya," she asserted.
