Kali Baru's Retaining Wall in Kramat Jati Repaired

East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department has completed repair on Kali Baru River retaining wall as long as 10 meters, RW 01, Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati.

Besides, we will make it more stronger and sturdy by installing sandbags and river stones

Kramat Jati SDA Unit Head, Muchlis stated, formerly this retaining wall was collapsed and unable to accommodate more water.

"We deploy 25 personnel from SDA Sub-department and Tengah Urban Village PPSU personnel. It is a temporary repair because later it will be continued by Jakarta SDA Department's East Stream Field," he explained, Monday (10/14).

According to him, SDA Department will repair it permanently using concrete after water level is low. His side will also install dolken wood piles as long as 20 meters.

"Besides, we will make it more stronger and sturdy by installing sandbags and river stones ," he conveyed.
