Thousand Islands Tourism Exhibition Increases Occupancy Resort

It is increasing drastically than previous years

The Thousand Islands tourism exhibition, which is held from August to October 2019 in several shopping centers in the Greater Jakarta and Bandung, proved to be able to increase resort occupancy by 30 to 50 percent.

"The response was quite good, some even booked directly on the spot," said Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-agency Head, Cucu Ahmad Kurnia, Monday (10/28).

Seeing this data, information about tourism in Thousand Islands can be spread widely. It can also increase sales of tour packages, either resorts or tourism service businesses in residential islands.

One of the tourism exhibition participants from one of the travel agents, Doni expressed, the effects of this exhibition are directly felt.

"It is increasing drastically than previous years," he told.

"Our income has gone up by around 20-30 percent," he admitted.
