Kasus PHK Sepihak Masih Terjadi di Jakpus
Pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) yang dilakukan sepihak masih terjadi di wilayah Jakarta Pusat. Bahkan dari data Suku Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi (Nakertrans) Jakarta Pusat, setiap bulan rata-rata 3-4 perusahaan yang dilaporkan karena melakuka.

3-4 Unilateral PHK Cases Reported Every Month

Termination of employment (PHK) done unilaterally is still happened in Central Jakarta. According to Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-department data, approximately 3-4 companies reported every month for doing HK to their employees.

“Usually there are 3-4 companies reported. Most of the problems are PHK done unilaterally,” stated Head of Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department, Atok Baroni Hidayat, Thursday (9/11).

As a follow up to those reports, Hidayat continued, his department did mediation to the conflicting parties. After an agreement reached, including about salary, his department will make a letter of agreement.

Employment Problems Need New Breakthrough

Based on Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-department data, there are 2,932 companies listed with 297,140 native workers and 4,105 foreign workers.

“All companies must report every year. Last year there were 3,535 companies listed. They must report every year, including about their salary system,” he uttered.

To diminish the problems happen between entrepreneurs and workers, Hidayat told that his department routinely conducts coaching. Every day, about 5-10 companies are coached and supervised.

“We check them whether their tools usage already in accordance to the laws or not and whether their salary payments in accordance to Province Minimum Wage (UMP) or not,” he uttered.
