Six urban villages in Thousand Islands Regency received motor carts (Germor) as an assistance from Jakarta Environment Department for 2019 fiscal year.

This motor cart makes it easier for us to transport garbage

Thousand Islands Environment Sub-department Administration Sub-division Head, Aan Ngurah Wisnu stated, each urban village received two motor carts.

"Mostly, two units of Germor for each urban villages, but if it is not enough, they can ask to Jakarta Environment Department," he conveyed, Thursday (11/7).

Meanwhile, Untung Jawa Urban Village Head, Supriyadi said, his side has received total six units of Germor from Environment Department as proposed for his region.

"We distribute three units to each RWs and three others for PPSU operational and urban village need," he explained.

This Germor assistance was given on October 31 and his side received it on November 1.

With this new garbage transporter, his side hopes environmental cleanliness in Untung Jawa can be better.

"This motor cart makes it easier for us to transport garbage thus we can prevent garbage from accumulating," he ment ioned.
