Water channel dredging conducted on Jalan Kampung Kresek Pasar Nangka, Tegal Alur Urban Village, Kalideres has finished.
Dredging is done from early October and completed today
Kalideres Water Resources (SDA) Unit Head, Agus Poerwanto mentioned, this dredging is done to follow up resident's request to optimize channel's capacity thus it can prevent inundation in area near Nangka Market.
"Dredging is done from early October and completed today," he informed, Tuesday (11/19).
Channel Dredging Progress in Jelambar Baru Reaches 70 PercentThis channel has length 90 meters and width 60 centimeters. In order to dredge it, his side deployed 25 personnel to clean up mud sedimentation with 90 centimeters thickness from the channel.
After dredging, his side expects the locals can maintain this channel clean by not throwing garbage to the channel.
"In average, we can collect 400-500 sacks full of mud sedimentation per day," he stated.
