BGR Pump House Construction to Finish December

Construction of water pump at BGR River, Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-district, North Jakarta now has reached 90 percent. This project is targeted to complete in December.

North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department Head, Adrian Mara Maulana explained, BGR Pump Houses is equipped with two stationer pumps with capacity 2,000 liters per second and two mud pumps with capacity 250 liters per second.
"Its process has run about 90 percent. Currently, we are testing the pumps," he added, Thursday (11/21).
December, BGR Pump House Construction FinishedIn this construction, his side also plan to deepen the long storage and rebuild two bridges on Jalan Bukit Gading Raya. One of these bridges is targeted to be finished until end of November.
In order to build those bridges, his side uses six box culverts with size 2.5 meters each. Later on, three boxes will be stacked up and its upper side will be casted and also installed with sidewalk and railing.
This pump house is built to solve inundation that often occured on Jalan Bukit Gading Raya, Boulevard Barat, and Jalan Raya Gading Kirana. This pump house is projected to drain water from BGR River to Sunter River.
"Based on our target, this pump house will be ready to operate in December," he asserted.
