BPRD: This Year's Tax Revenue will Reach the Target

With this program, tax realization will increase prior to maturity

The Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) is optimistic that the regional tax realization through APBD can be achieved by the end of this year.

That is by optimizing the tax relief program thus taxpayers are expected to immediately pay off their obligations in paying taxes.

"With this program, tax realization will increase prior to maturity," disclosed Jakarta BPRD Head, Faisal Syarifuddin, Tuesday (11/26).

Up to November 26, its realization has reached around Rp 35 trillion from the target set by Rp 44 trillion. It is collected from 13 types of regional tax in the capital.

In details, the vehicle tax (PKB) has managed to collect Rp 7.8 trillion from the target set by Rp 8.8 trillion, vehicle ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) Rp 4.8 trillion from the target by Rp 5.6 trillion, fuel tax (PBBKB) Rp 1.1 trillion from the target by Rp 1.2 trillion.

There are also water and land tax (PAT) has reached Rp 93 billion from the target by Rp 110 billion, hotel tax Rp 1.5 trillion from the target by Rp 1.8 trillion, restaurant tax Rp 3.2 trillion from the target by Rp 3.5 trillion, entertainment tax Rp 743 billion from the target by Rp 850 billion and billboard tax Rp 944 billion from the target by Rp 1.05 trillion.

Streetlight tax (PPJ) Rp 739 billion from the target by Rp 810 billion, parking tax Rp 492 billion from the target by Rp 525 billion, building and land acquisition tax (BPHTB) Rp 4.1 trillion from the target by Rp 9.5 trillion, cigarette tax Rp 533 billion from the target by Rp 620 billion, as well as urban and rural land and building tax (PBB P2) Rp 9 trillion from the target by Rp 10 trillion.

"That's why we anticipate it with an online system, hopefully our target can be achieved," he stated.
