BPRD Pursues 1,140 Tax Arrears on Luxury Vehicles

Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) pursues 1,140 tax defaulters of luxury vehicles in Jakarta.

Jakarta BPRD Head, Faisal Syafruddin mentioned, those tax defaulters are potential to increase around Rp 34 billion for city revenue. From total 1,140 tax defaulters, only 373 people who have paid their tax arrears.

Tax potential from one unit of luxury vehicle is above Rp 100 million.

"If there is difference in data, we will block it right away," he asserted.

For information, Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) realization until November 26, 2019 has reached around Rp 7.87 trillion from total target Rp 8.8 trillion or about 89.4 percent of 2019 Revised City Budget (APBD-P).
