For information, Cooperation Program document signing between Jakarta and Moscow for 2020-2022 period was signed by representative of Moscow Government, Cheremin Sergey as the Head of Moscow External Economics and International Relations Department, and representative of Jakarta Government, Muhammad Mawardi as the Head of Regional Office and International Cooperation Bureau (KDH KLN) of Jakarta Secretary (Setdaprov).
Purpose of this cooperation program was to improve cooperation between Jakarta and Moscow in various aspects in accordance with applicable law in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Indonesia. Moscow External Economy and International Relation Department and Jakarta KLH KLN of Jakarta Secretary would act as coordinator for each cities related to this program.
Documents that have been signed would be a reference for both cities to coordinate with each Department/SKPD/UKPD in both cities to implement various programs that have been agreed by both sides within 3 years (2020-2022) in fields of:
• Innovative Development in Urban Management
• City Planning
• Urban Environment and Environmental Protection
• Tourism and Culture and Cultural Heritage
There were also Jakarta Deputy Governor for Population and Settlement Control as well as Acting Jakarta Bappeda Head, Suharti, Representatives of KDH KLN Bureau of Jakarta Secretary and Representatives of Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).
