451 Damaged Roads in C. Jakarta Repaired

Central Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department has repaired hundreds of damaged roads in order to minimize the traffic accident in Central Jakarta.

Of the 451 damaged roads, 397 out of them have been repaired and the rest 59 roadss are still in completion phase

Those roads are Jalan Salemba Raya, Jalan Letjend Suprapto, Jalan Tanah Tinggi Barat, Jalan Tiang Seng/Mangga Besar, Jalan Utan Panjang Barat, and Jalan Utan Panjang Timur

Head of Road and Bridge Maintenance for Central Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department, Gustio Ruhuseto disclosed his sub-department keeps speeding up repair on 451 damaged roads in eight sub-districts.

70 Percent of Damaged Roads in Central Jakarta Repaired

"Of the 451 damaged roads, 397 out of them have been repaired and the rest 59 roadss are still in completion phase," he expressed, Wednesday (9/17).

He uttered the damaged road is usually caused by utility excavation project and many passing vehicles. "The road needs to be maintained routinely. Moreover, road is easily damaged during rainy season," he finished
