Kebayoran Lama Has Two Instagramable Bridges

These bridges are made of steel. But the roof is made of copper and safe to pass

Right now, citizens living in Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta can enjoy bridges between villages (JAK) built on Jalan Haji Muhi 8, Pondok Pinang and Jalan Al Ikhlas, RW 06, Grogol Selatan.

The bridge on Jalan Haji Muhi 8 was built with design of a roof and a box-shaped buffer shades of red and dark blue. Then another on Jalan Al Ikhlas was built with design of a light green roof and yellow buffer.

This Week, Bridges Between Villages in South Jakarta Finished

Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Head Aroman expressed its development was actually proposed by citizens a long time ago. At the same time, there was also an instruction from the city level to record bridges that need to be renovated.

"Locals want to hold silaturahmi with the mayor in Kebayoran Lama. That's why the proposal is immediately processed," he expressed, Sunday (12/29).

This project carried out by South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency only takes two months.

"These bridges are made of steel. While the roof is made of copper and safe to pass," he told.

With the colorful design, it makes the bridge more attractive to selfie spot and is very iconic and instagramable.

"We urge locals to maintain and treat the bridges," he closed.
