Dozens of citizens refused to leave their land that has been demolished a few days ago, by setting up tents on the banks of Mookevart River, Jalan Inspeksi Kelurahan Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. They are willing to be relocated if West Jakarta Administration provides decent housing.
Sudasmi, (50), one of local citizens admitted that he had received a free rented house from West Jakarta Administration. Yet she is still confused how to open a business in the new place, thus decided to stay while opening the food stall.

She hoped West Jakarta Administration could relocate citizens to the flat soon. "We are agree to be relocated, but not at distant locations. Considering our children school is not far from previous location," she exclaimed.
Separately, Head of Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Ridwan explained he has asked the developer to provide compensation in form of flat for those affected by normalization project.
He expressed, at this time, as many as 17 citizens are still surviving in such land. From that number, 9 of them been willing to be relocated to the Marund Flat, Cilincing, North Jakarta. "We cannot bring them to Daan Mogot Flat, because it's still under construction process," he explained.
