South Jakarta Administration prepared thousands joint personnel to handle flood disaster. It consist of civil apparatuses (ASN)s, Community Early Precautions Forum (FKDM), PPSU, and others.

They work in shift every day

South Jakarta Mayor, as well as Leader of South Jakarta Flood Handling Unit, Marullah Matali explained all urban village and sub-district heads should provide disaster response posts in their regions as soon as possible.

"Disaster response posts will be provided until end of the peak rainy season. All offices should also provide public kitchen," he mentioned after leading the coordination meeting with urban village and sub-district heads in South Jakarta, Thursday (1/9).

Furthermore, he added, urban villages and sub-districts should provide important devices in each posts, such as flood area maps, population data maps, and evacuation shelter location maps.

"Besides, each posts should also provide ownership data of facilities and infrastructure, and personnel on duty. So, all information listed in there," he added.

South Jakarta Flood Handling Unit personnel consist of 1,968 ASNs, 566 FKDMs, 4,707 PPSU personnel, and 571 personnel from LMK.

"They work in shift every day. 10 personnel in urban village, 15 personnel in sub-district, and 16 personnel for municipality level," he mentioned.
