SDA Head Checks Two Pump Houses in Central Jakarta

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Department Head, Juani Yusuf checked condition of water pumps located at Cideng Pump House and Industri Pompa House, Central Jakarta.

Until now, I have checked pumps in 50 pump houses, including Cideng and Industry Pump House today

He admitted, his side regularly visits pump house to check its operational in order to ensure all pumps are in good condition.

"Until now, I have checked pumps in 50 pump houses, including Cideng and Industry Pump House today. Several pumps are under maintenance right now, but it doesn't hamper the overall operation," he conveyed, Wednesday (1/15).

Commission E Encourages People for Not Littering Channels

Not only checking pump condition on the location, his side also ensures personnel to stand by 24 hours in pump house. It was done to prevent and overcome things that could happen immediately.

"We always prepare our pumps and personnel to be in good condition during rainy season and tidal flood periods. We always remind our personnel to be always stand by at pump houses," he added.

According to him, there are total 478 units pumps in Jakarta in 133 locations.

"I will continue to check pump's condition in 133 locations, as well as its operational and personnel," he mentioned.
