Inundation at Gunung Urban Village Receded

Tens Public Facility Maintenance (PPSU) personnel deployed to overcome inundation at RW 01, 05, and 06, Gunung Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Now it has receded because we have 15 infiltration wells in here

Those settlements were inundated due to heavy rain at 5 AM that caused Grogol River and Jelawe River overflowed. But now, most inundated areas have receded.

Gunung Urban Village Head, Dimas Prayudi mentioned, his side deployed 96 PPSU personnel to overcome inundation in those settlements.

"Now it has receded because we have 15 infiltration wells in here," he stated at Gunung Urban Village Office, Saturday (1/18).

At that time, PPSU personnel cleaned up water channels and assisted residents who need to evacuate to the shelter post. Besides, his side has also  cooperated with Kebayoran Baru Health Center (Puskesmas) to help residents who need medicines.

"Kebayoran Baru Puskesmas will help checking their condition," he said.
