Creative Young Entrepreneurs in Kota Tua Get Business Training

A number of young entrepreneurs around Kota Tua area, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, received creative economics training from the United Nations of Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Citi Foundation, on Thursday (2/20).

Programme Specialist for Culture UNESCO Jakarta, Moe Chiba said, prior to training on March 5-7, he would like to explain and give understanding and purpose and objectives of the training targeting young entrepreneurs in the creative industries.

"This program gives business assistance from all lines. We want to create a good economic ecosystem in Kota Tua," he expressed, in the Bank Indonesia Museum's Auditorium Room, Taman Sari, West Jakarta.

Young Entrepreneurs Undergo Integrated Entrepreneurship Development Training

He explained, training would be held at the the Bank Indonesia Museum's Auditorium, Jalan Pintu Besar Utara No 3, Kota Tua, West Jakarta. There are two options of time namely Thursday (3/5) or Saturday (3/7) starting at 8 AM to 5 PM. The participants ranged in age from 18 to 35 years and had been in business for one year.

"We believe everyone has creativity, just needs to be developed," he said.

This program provides support for business development ranging from business training, digital marketing, financial literacy, to developing business branding for each. With this training, entrepreneurs open networks and collaborate with one another, even across sectors, for example food with services, etc.

"Hopefully by the end of this program, they (participants) will be able to develop their businesses in the creative industries and products based on culture, have a strong financial system, as well as increase their business branding for a wider range," he uttered.
