He explained, people who are involved in market activity, both goods and services production, will drive Jakarta's economy and ultimately improve the welfare from the household level. He also asserted that Jakarta as a magnet for economy in Indonesia should be able to address the inequality challenges through economic empowerment by increasing employment and developing SMEs.
"Today, there are around 60 outlets in Thamrin 10 with around 30 Jakpreneurs who got this chance to participate in this event. It is a part of our efforts to take those who have the will, good innovation, and good products to enter the mainstream of Jakarta. Because in this place, Insya Allah, they will get a big attention. As far as I know, Thamrin 10 is always busy, especially in the evening and night. This is a good opportunity to be exposed to Jakarta market. So, I hope you can take the advantage as well as possible," he explained.
Naturalé Market is held for two days, Saturday-Sunday on February 22-23, 2020. On the first day, it starts from 10 AM to 9 PM and enlivened with bazaar, workshops from various communities (Rimbun, Trash Hero, and TaniHub), and musical performance. While on the second day, it is started from 7 AM to 9 PM and enlivened by bazaar, workshops (related to urban farming, natural soap bar and lip balm, and shibori tie dye technique), talk show about Jakpreneurs, and musical performance.
Moreover, visitors can take photo at selfie booth and write on the creative wall about their wishes for Jakarta.
This event is also enlivened with 30 tenants that offer their products from Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Department; Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Department (Disnakertrans); Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Department; Empowerment, Children Friendly, and Population Control (PPAPP) Department, and Social Department.
"It is a collaboration. Some of people bring experiences, some bring capital, some bring network, and the other bring an opportunity. All of them cooperate and create a collaboration.
