Dozens of East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency officers plus one heavy equipment were deployed to repair a collapsed sheet pile of Ciliwung River on Jalan Kesatrian X, RT 12/03, Kebon Manggis, Matraman, on Tuesday (3/3).

"To anticipate landslides, we install bronjong and dolken wood yet this is just temporary," expressed Matraman Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Jerri Widian.

It is targeted to be finished in one month ahead. By this work, local citizens were urged not to cross near the location.

RW 03 Matraman Chairwoman Sumiati uttered that the incident occurred on Wednesday (2/26) at around 10 PM. Afterwards his side immediately reported it to the urban village for further action. Unfortunately, landslides occurred again and made conditions even more alarming.

"We hope this can be dealt quickly thus it does not endanger the citizens," he hoped.
