Urine Smell, Senen Bus Terminal Needs Better Toilet

The behavior of public transport drivers who often urinating has spread rotten smell in the Senen Bus Terminal, Central Jakarta. To solve the matter, terminal management will deploy fire trucks to spray the ex-urine place inside terminal.

Head of Jakarta Terminal Technical Management Unit, Anton Parura disclosed on Sunday night, his party will request a fire truck to spray urine.

"We spray urine using fire truck and re-sprayed with deodorizer. But we also instruct bus crew not to urinate haphazardly. Banner of prohibition to be installed later on," he explained, Friday (9/26).

According to him, his party already had repeatedly warned the terminal head to maintain terminal's cleanliness, including a new breakthrough in the entire terminal in Jakarta through activity of clean Friday. It is deemed quite effective to maintain terminal's cleanliness.

"Urine smell is from bus crew who often urinating around terminal at night," he expressed.

Head of Senen Sub-District, Lola Lopita added she also had warned terminal officers to maintain terminal's cleanliness, including by providing toilet facility for bus crew and passenger.

"We have repeatedly warned the terminal management to immediately provide public toilet in terminal, thus people will not urinate randomly," she stressed.
