Jakarta Provincial Government held socialization about Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention, control, and updated situation at Pola Room, 1st Floor of Block G, Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (3/5).

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan together with Health Department Head, Widyastuti and other speakers held an interactive discussion with the participants consisting of directors of hospitals in Jakarta, Chairmen of Professional Organizations, Professional Associations, and Hospital Associations.
"Jakarta Government gathered all directors from all hospitals in Jakarta with total 190 hospitals. We invited speakers from RSPI Sulianti Saroso (Infectious Disease Hospital) and Health Ministry to socialize the symptoms and further information to the hospitals' directors thus all sides can have same understanding and procedures, when they face the COVID-19 case in Jakarta," Anies said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
Health Department Issues Circular Letter Regarding Precautions for COVID-19While giving instruction to the participants, his side assessed COVID-19 case in Indonesia is a moment to remind residents and all health facilities to prior the health promotion and preventive methods.
Thus his side expected all related sides to be aware and understand well in handling the case, thus residents can be calm in facing this outbreak. Besides, he also encouraged all sides to be active in sharing the information thus people remain calm but vigilant in facing the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
"The point is, Jakarta Government wants all sides to be prepared, not only civil apparatuses and state health facilities, but all hospitals and health facilities in Jakarta. Thus our discussion is technically more into medical treatment. We must be aware, don't panic, but don't relax. Hopefully with an intensive communication, we can inform public that all health workers in Jakarta are ready," he asserted.
He reminds all related sides to share actual, urgent, and transparent information to the public.
"Again, the points are factual, urgent, and transparent. All residents need it. Vigilance is based on reality and always is. Because it is important," he asserted.
His side ensured Jakarta Government through COVID-19 Fast Response Team will give the latest information, be transparent and all-out in protecting the residents, including in controling the fulfillment of basic needs and availability of logistics medical devices.
In addition, his side also conveyed his appreciation to Health Department, hospitals managements and directors, professional organizations, professional associations, health facility associations, and all health workers who work optimally in serving the residents; and to Health Ministry for giving technical instructions to prevent and control COVID-19 transmission.
"Actually, you are the forefront in handling this problem; the first who felt fatigue and anxiety, with the highest risk for developing the disease. I hope you can motivate your employees in the hospitals and said that we want to take the responsibilities. We also want to build intensive communication in all departments. Let us show to them that we also take high responsibility on this. Let us take care of Jakarta together," he conveyed.
