Several Companies and Agencies in Jakarta Implement Work from Home

A number of companies and agencies in Jakarta have implemented work from home policies in accordance with the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency's Circular Letter number 14/SE/2020 on Appeals to Work at Home.

Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency Head Andri Yansyah urged company leaders to take steps preventing the spread of COVID-19 by doing work at home. There are 3 categories of preventive measures that can be taken.

"First, the company can temporarily stop all of its business activities. Second, the company can temporarily reduce some of its business activities (part-time employees and operational facilities). Third, companies that cannot stop their business activities as its business fields are related to health services, basic material needs and fuel," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Wednesday (3/18).

a. The number of citizens seeking information through 112 and the COVID-19 Response Post is 658 people, thus the total community consulted up to March 17 is 9,833 people

b. 180 people (PDP) have passed the treatment period, followed by 194 are still being treated at the hospital, thus the total PDP reported by health facilities in Jakarta up to March 17 is 374 people

c. 300 people are still being monitored, 562 have been passed monitoring stage thus the total of ODP reported by the health facilities in Jakarta up to March 17 is 862 people.
