PT Bank DKI decided to reduce the operation of service offices in the capital from 8 AM to 2 PM that has been ongoing since yesterday and would end on April 5 over coronavirus concerns.

In total, only 30 percent of employees work in offices

According to Herry Djufraini, Secretary of PT Bank DKI, the bank services in the flats, sub-districts, urban villages, shopping centers and Samsat outlets had to be diverted to other service offices.

"In total, only 30 percent of employees work in offices. We also set split operation policy where our employees already carry out daily work activities by working from home," he expressed, Tuesday (3/24).

His party also attached hand sanitizers and body temperature scanners at headquarters and service offices, as well as distributed masks to all employees.

"We also spray disinfectant fluids in the service offices," he told.

Nevertheless, customers could still make transactions in non-cash using the JakOne Mobile app for individual customers and Cash Management System for institutional and corporate customers.

"This is our effort to protect our employees and customers from physical contact," he added.

To optimally contain the virus spread, the bank also invited customers and the whole society to help the victims of COVID-19 through charity donation.

"Let us spread the goodness together by donating through Bank DKI Peduli accounts: 101.20.12345.5 and Bank DKI accounts: 701.07.00003.0," he closed.
