East Jakarta Sudinsos Set Up Public Kitchens for Coronavirus Victims

The East Jakarta Social Sub-agency (Sudinsos) has set up public kitchens in some places, which aims to provide fast food aid for citizens who suspect coronavirus, on Wednesday (3/25).

To get this social aid, there must be a request from the urban village and a letter from the local puskesmas

It is set up in Bina Netra and Rungu Wicara Cahaya Bathin social homes, Cawang, Kramat Jati. There are 20 Tagana members who are deployed to cook and provide ready meals.

"To get this social aid, there must be a request from the urban village and a letter from the local puskesmas. This is to prevent abuse or deviation," expressed East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Purwono.

Coronavirus Handwashing Facilities are Now Available in Public Areas

Social Protection and Poor Countermeasures Division Head Abdul Salam added similar aid is also provided to help flood victims. As for the information, at 2.30 AM, the Katulampa Dam in Bogor was at status 3 and predicted to inundate areas on Ciliwung River in this afternoon.

"Thus far the Cawang has requested for 600 boxes and Cililitan has requested 1,000 boxes. This food aid will be prepared for lunch and dinner for flood victims," he closed.
