The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) expects rain in parts of Jakarta on Sunday afternoon.
"Cloudy in the morning, light rain in Thousand Islands," expressed BMKG's Public Relations Division Head, Achmad Taufan Maulana, Sunday (4/5).
BMKG Predicts Extreme Weather to Occur Until March 2020In the afternoon, light rain will hit North, Central, West, South and East Jakarta. In the evening, light-moderate rain is about to fall in North, Central, South, West and East Jakarta, including in Thousand Islands.
"Cloudy at dawn, light rain in Thousand Islands," he expressed.
Temperatures are predicted at 24 to 33 degrees Celsius with humidity of 85 to 98 percent and west-northwest wind speeds of 05 to 25 kilometers per hour.
He appeals to the public to be alert to the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds of short duration in West Jakarta, South and East Jakarta regions before noon and night.
