Until Early April, City Earns Rp 6.61 Trillion from 13 Types of Taxes

Local revenue which collected from 13 types of taxes from January to April 2, 2020 has reached Rp 6.61 trillion.

Our target for this year is to collect Rp 50.18 trillion from 13 types of taxes

Jakarta Regional Earnings Board (Bapenda) Secretary, Pilar Hendrani mentioned, his side will continue to optimize city revenue during COVID-19 emergency period.

"Our target for this year is to collect Rp 50.18 trillion from 13 types of taxes," he mentioned, Monday (4/6).

Bapenda-Dukcapil Cooperates to Optimize Local Revenue

He explained, collecting tax was optimized by applying online tax system for motor vehicle tax, Fees for Acquisition of Land and Building Rights (BPHTB), restaurant, entertainment venue, parking, hotel, and Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2).

"Taxpayers can pay the taxes from ATM or banking payment application," he stated.

Jakarta Bapenda has also increased its awareness to prevent COVID-19 transmission in all tax offices.

"We clean our offices with disinfectant, provide sink and hand soap for customers who come to pay their taxes at tax office," he added.

Furthermore, his side also checked body temperature of people who come to the office.

"We also follow Jakarta Governor's instructions by applying physical distance and wearing mask," he informed.
