Jakarta Regional Secretariat (Setda)'s General Bureau intensifies health protocols in City Hall by installing thermal camera as a precaution against COVID-19 transmission.

When it detects body temperature above 37 Celsius degree, it will ring an alarm

Setda's General Bureau Head, Budi Awaludin conveyed, his side has carried out preventive measures in City Hall since COVID-19 cases announced in Jakarta.

"Currently we also install thermal camera in the main entrance gate of Block G Building, City Hall, Jakarta. When it detects body temperature above 37 Celsius degree, it will ring an alarm," he said, Thursday (4/16).

Furthermore, his side also provides portable sinks, toothpicks at the elevator to press the button, installs safe distance marks on the elevator, and manual body temperature checking using thermal gun.

"We apply health protocols to journalists who cover governor's press conference by maintaining their distance, providing hand sanitizers and portable sinks, and ensuring them to wear face mask," he asserted.

In the near future, his side will also install two thermal cameras in several rooms to ensure employees and guests at City Hall are safe from COVID-19.

"We apply health protocols strictly to ensure no COVID-19 transmission at Jakarta City Hall," he closed.
