Number of PSBB Violators in South Jakarta Continues to Decline

The number of road users who violate the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations in South Jakarta continues to decline.

Then, the next seven days, total violation reduced to below 200 cases

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) Head, Budi Setiawan informed, from April 15 to April 24, number of PSBB violators was reduced from 2,320 into 2,120 road users.

"On the last ten days, there were 756 two-wheeled vehicles, 805 private cars, 129 freight cars, and 403 public minivans which violated the regulations," he mentioned, Saturday (4/25).

According to him, decrease in number of PSBB violators was seen from the last seven days. Because the violation graph on April 15-17, 2020, was still high with total around 350-358 violators.

"Then, the next seven days, total violation reduced to below 200 cases," he added.

According to him, most of the violations committed by two-wheeled motorists were not wearing face masks when crossing three checkpoints at the intersection of Jalan Pasar Jumat, Jalan Ciledug Raya, and Jalan Komjen Pol. Jasin.

"On the first period of PSBB, we only warn the violators. But starting the second period of PSBB, the violators will be ticketed," he closed.
