PSBB, Central Jakarta Improves Coordination with Police

Central Jakarta Government intensifies its coordination with police during large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implementation.

Currently, there is no sanction for the violators, we only warn them

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Irwandi mentioned, coordination inter-agencies has been carried out since PSBB policy implemented on April 10, 2020.

"Our coordination runs well until today. We always monitor the checkpoints, sometimes we also coordinate the plan via zoom meeting," he conveyed, Wednesday (4/22).

His side continues to socialize residents about PSBB regulations. Those who have violated the regulation will be taken care of by the police.

"Currently, there is no sanction for the violators, we only warn them," he added.

In the other hand, Central Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Heru Novianto admitted, his side didn't find any significant obstacles in monitoring PSBB implementation in the field. his side has deployed 2 personnel to guard each RWs in Central Jakarta.

"So far, there is no increase in crim inal cases in Central Jakarta," he informed.
