15 RWs in Pisangan Baru Received 78,190 Face Masks

As many as 15 RWs of Pisangan Baru Urban Village, Matraman, East Jakarta have received 78,190 free face masks from Jakarta Government as an effort to protect its residents from COVID-19 transmission.

We have distributed it to residents thus they can wear it when doing activities outside their house

Pisangan Baru Urban Village Head, Sugihastuti mentioned, face masks distribution was carried out well. After Urban Village receiving the assistance, local PPSU personnel distribute it to every RT/RW administrators using operational vehicles and motor carts. Symbolically, it was also distributed for elderly and people with disabilities.

"We have distributed it to residents thus they can wear it when doing activities outside their house. It means, we don't accept any reason of residents who don't wear face mask outside because we have given it for free," she conveyed, Friday (5/1).

Cengkareng Barat Distributes 162,142 Cloth Masks to 182 RTs

According to her, each resident got 2 face masks. After this, her side will improve its monitoring towards residents who don't wear mask when going outside.

RW 08 Pisangan Baru Head, Saeful Anwar conveyed his gratitude for face mask assistance from Jakarta Government. Because now residents can protect themselves from COVID-19 by wearing face mask when going outside. His side also mentioned that PSBB monitoring will be intensified in his area.

"Residents who are going out without wearing face mask always making excuses when warned. With this assistance, we will not accept any more excuses, because all residents have been given face masks," he stated.
