Kebon Manggis to Expand Social Aid for People Affected by COVID-19

The Kebon Manggis Urban Village, East Jakarta has received staple food packages and masks aid from PT Aetra Air Jakarta (Aetra) and East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), on Tuesday (5/5).

The aid itself is slated to be distributed to low-income people affected by COVID-19 crisis in four RWs in this afternoon

Kebon Manggis Urban Village Head Ibnu Fajar expressed the PT Aetra gave 190 packages of staple food, containing 2.5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar and 900 milliliters of cooking oil and PMI gave 500 packages, containing two bath soaps and three masks.

"The aid itself is slated to be distributed to low-income people affected by COVID-19 crisis in four RWs in this afternoon, especially for mosque caretakers and its cleaning services," he expressed.

Commission B and Executives Open PSBB Evaluation Meeting

East Jakarta PMI for Public Relations and Communication Division Head Agus Bastian added the aid was sent to meet people's daily needs affected by COVID-19. It also aimed to encourage them apply clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS).

"Urban village also plans to involve local RT/RW to make its distribution on target, specially for those who have never received help," he stated.
