PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra mentioned, permit/license documents in health sector issued by PMPTSP which expired during COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency Response period in Jakarta, will be considered to remain valid by PMPTSP.

According to him, this policy is mentioned in Announcement No. 47/2020 concerning the Extension of Certain Permit Documents Validity in Health Sector Related to the Spread of COVID-19.

"We understand the priorities of those in charge including health facilities, health workers, and health worker's assistants. Thus through licensing relaxation in health sector, we expect them to stay focus on carrying out the noble task in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic," he explained, Friday (5/8).

He assessed, certain permits/licenses in health sector are often needed by person in charge of health facilities, health workers, and health worker's assistants for administrative purpose and cooperating with other parties in overcoming COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta.

"After COVID-19 Emergency Response Period in Jakarta ended, the applicants should extend their licenses in accordance with the applicable regulations," he conveyed.

Licensing relaxation doesn't apply to new applicants in health sector or those who want to change data regarding ownership, type of business / practice or the address on the license.

"For new applicants or applicants who want to chance their license are required to submit license in accordance with the provisions of legislation, because licensing relaxation doesn't apply for them," he added.

He explained, PMPTSP optimizes service for Health Practice License (SIP) of health workers through online service at jakevo.jakarta.go.id or JakEVO mobile app.

It requires a valid Registration Certificate (STR) which legalized and original recommendation letter from the professional organization in the area where the applicants practice. Those documents temporarily can be replaced by statement of the applicants.

"Applicants should submit STR and other requirement documents after COVID-19 Emergency Response period ended," he stated.
