Hotman’s Lamborghini Involved in Traffic Accident, One Died

A green Lamborghini B 333 NIP belongs to prominent lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea (55), was involved in a traffic accident with a box car B 9642 BCI on Wiyoto Wiyono Toll KM 17 towards Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Sunday (10/5), around 5.30 AM. In this accident, the box car driver named Dedy Sulaeman (31) died instantly at the scene after bouncing off and his head hit asphalt.

The accident began when the box car’s left front tire burst and the vehicle swerved onto the right lane. At the same time, a bus that was running at medium speed on the right lane had to avoid collision by moving to the far right lane. However, on the far right lane the Lamborghini driven by Hotman Paris Hutapea came at high speed and instantly crashed onto the back of the bus.
As for the truck driven by Dedy Sulaeman (31), it swerved to the right and grazed concrete road separator as well as guard rail. Ironically, the truck then swerved back to the left side of road and then tumbled. Because of that, Dedy got bounced off the vehicle through the windshield and hit the asphalt with severe injuries on his head.

Moreover, Sudarmanto disclosed that when the back of the bus was hit, the driver did not stop the bus but kept going to Pluit direction. Now, the bus driver and conductor are being chased by the police. Even so, no one has been named as suspect yet.
As many as four people have been questioned by the police as witnesses, including Hotman Paris Hutapea. As for the box car driver helper, Mulyono, he is now under intensive treatment in Mitra Kemayoran Hospital, Central Jakarta.
Meanwhile, City Police Public Relations Division Chief Sr. Comr. Rikwanto told that two vehicles are seized as evidences.
“Mr. Hotman Paris Hutapea only suffers minor injuries. He has been secured in North Jakarta Traffic Unit office to be questioned,” he uttered.
