25 Petugas Gabungan Lakukan Pengawasan PSBB di Jl Raya Bogor

Officers Tightening Checkpoint on Jalan Raya Bogor

Some 25 joint personnel conducted strict checks on checkpoint location of PSBB along Jalan Raya Bogor, Pekayon, Pasar Rebo, on Tuesday (5/26). This location was one of the borders between Jakarta, Depok and Bogor, West Java.

If they are from outside Greater Jakarta, they must have SIKM

Drivers coming from Bogor were stopped and inspected. Those who did not wear masks were immediately given social and administrative sanctions, including passengers sitting next to the wheel were asked to move to the rear row. Officers also checked body temperature using a thermal gun.

Pasar Rebo Sub-district Vice Head Santoso said it was more focused on the drivers who come from outside the Jakarta area that are required to have a Jakarta Exit/Entry Permit (SIKM).

"We also check the driver's identity. If they are from outside Greater Jakarta, they must have SIKM. If not, we do not allow them to pass," he asserted.

As for those from Greater Jakarta, examination was still done as stipulated in the Gubernatorial Regulation number 41/2020, concerning sanctions for PSBB violators.

From the examination results, 10 motorists did not wear masks and were subjected to social sanctions in the form of sweeping the road and 2 others from outside the Greater Jakarta were forced to turn around, as they had no SIKM.

Cipayung Sector Police Traffic Unit Chief AKP Anton Budiarto added those 25 joint personnel were from East Jakarta Traffic Unit, Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, subprecinct police (Polsek), Polda Metro Jaya Sabhara and army.

"We only give written warning, instead of ticketing on motorists who violate PSBB or traffic rules, considering full action lies with Satpol PP," he closed.
