If all needed documents have been submitted and correct, then it is estimated to take one working day to issue the SIKM.
"In average, the guarantor needs around 5 hours to validate SIKM proposal since the application was submitted. Even some of them are able to validate within 1.2 minutes. But if the guarantor doesn't validate more than 3x24 hours then the application will be automatically cancelled/rejected/disapproved," he explained.
Some applications were rejected because the applicants were unable to fulfill the verification requirements in Administration Research and Licensing Technical Research.
"For example, their travel activities are not included in the eleven sectors which are permitted during COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
As mandated by Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 47/2020 concerning Restrictions on Exit/Entry Jakarta in Order to Prevent COVID-19 Transmission, SIKM is only issued for people or business actors who need to travel because of urgent needs and those who are on duty or have occupation which included in the eleven sectors that are permitted to operate.
"We want to ensure the entire process of administrative research verification and technical research applications for permits or non-permit proposals are always carried out correctly and appropriately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," he closed.
