Pulogebang Terminal Tightens Passenger Supervision

The Pulogadung Integrated Terminal Management Unit, East Jakarta is tightening supervision towards passengers and buses who have just arrived from the trip. It is done to enforce the Gubernatorial Regulation number 47/2020 on travel limitations out of and into Greater Jakarta in an effort to prevent the COVID-19 spread.

We deploy seven personnel to check passengers and buses in terminal every day

Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Management Unit Head Bernad Octavianus Pasaribu said his side would immediately check the documents and passengers of the buses that have just arrived at the terminal

"If the passengers don't have SIKM, they will be sanctioned, except those who have a letter of assignment. There are two options, want to return to the area of origin or enter the quarantine in Pulogadung GOR," he expressed, Wednesday (5/27).

He added his side just found two newcomers who were found not carrying SIKM on Tuesday (6/25). Both brought to the quarantine at Pulogadung GOR. Then the bus that carries them had to be grounded in the goods terminal and Pulogebang pool.

"We deploy seven personnel to check passengers and buses in terminal every day. We also get support from six personnel of army/police," he stated.
