Infra: SIKM is Important to Minimize COVID-19 in Jakarta

This is the right decision

Indonesia for Transparency and Accountability (Infra) is supporting the implementation of Jakarta's Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM) to minimize COVID-19 cases in the capital.

"This is the right decision. We really appreciate and support the governor's step in suppressing the coronavirus," expressed Infra Executive Director, Agus Achmad Chairudin, Wednesday (5/27).

PMPTSP Has Repaired SIKM Online Service

According to him, this policy provides the maximum results needed by all parties, including the army and police members who are guarding the entire border road at the entrance of the capital, tollgate, terminal and airport.

"Make sure that every person who enters the capital after the Eid holiday doesn't contract COVID-19 as one of the requirements to get SIKM. If you do not have it, the joint team on duty at the checkpoint may not allow you to enter Jakarta, we must be firm," he explained.

He added, the city administration was also called to empower RT/RW caretakers, Early Awareness Society Forum (FKDM) members and other social organizations to record the citizens' ID card who return to their hometown before Eid al-Fitr.

"I hope this case is rapidly decreasing. Thus there is no need for PSBB extension after 4 June," he hoped.
