Central Jakarta Checks Passenger's SIKM at Gambir Station

Anticipating backflow period of Eid 2020, Central Jakarta Government tightens monitoring at Gambir Station. 5 newcomers were netted in this operation because those passengers didn't have Jakarta Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM).

Total 5 newcomers who can't show their SIKM

Central Jakarta Mayor, Bayu Meghantara stated, SIKM is needed as a requirement document to enter or exit Jakarta as regulated in Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 47/2020 concerning Restrictions on Exit/Entry Jakarta in Order to Prevent COVID-19 Transmission.

"Total 5 newcomers who can't show their SIKM," he added, Wednesday (5/27).

Related to this case, his side took them to be quarantined at KONI Building, Tanah Abang.

"During the quarantine period, they will undergo swab test. If the result is positive, then they need to be quarantined longer," he conveyed.
