227 Travelers Rejected from Returning to Jakarta Without Permits

Around 227 vehicles seeking to enter Jakarta without having an exit and entry permit (SIKM) were returned to their hometowns when they passed the Jasinga PSBB Post, Bogor Regency, West Java.

They are only subject to social work sanctions

"Of 227 vehicles, 115 out of them are motorcycles, 101 were private cars, 5 were public minivans and 6 were goods vehicles. This data is taken from May 26-31," expressed South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Budi Setiawan, Monday (6/1).

He added similar operation was also done at the Rindu Alam Puncak PSBB Post, Tanjung Sari PSBB Post and Cigombong PSBB Post, Bogor Regency.

May 15-29, PMPTSP Received 25,664 SIKM Proposals

At Jasinga PSBB Post, his side involved 50 joint personnel of Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, army, police and Bogor Regency administration.

"We also stop 36 drivers who do not wear masks and 5 other vehicles that carry passengers more than the capacity. They are only subject to social work sanctions," he stated.
