PMI Has Conducted Disinfectant Spraying at 9,248 Points

Until the end of May 2020, we have already sprayed disinfectants at 9,248 points

Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Head Muchtar Tatang said that his side had been spraying disinfectants at a thousand points since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Until the end of May 2020, we have already sprayed disinfectants at 9,248 points," he expressed, Wednesday (6/3).

Spraying Disinfectants Intensified at 1,017 Points in West Jakarta

Of 9,248 points, he detailed, 4,778 of them were conducted in residential areas, 1,897 are in schools and 564 are in worship places.

"Similar action is also carried out in terminal area, station area, protocol roads and health infrastructures. To do it, we involve 188 personnel plus 53 motorcycles and water tank cars," he furthered.

He stressed it would be intensified until this virus ends.

Aside that, his side also had distributed tens of thousands of masks, hand sanitizers and food needs for those in need to mitigate the hardship of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"In total, we have distributed 38,134 PPEs for medical workers in 23 RSUDs," he closed.
