Dishub Divides Kaliadem Port's Checkpoint into Three Checking Zones

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) carries out strict monitoring in three zones of Kaliadem Port's checkpoint after public transports are allowed to operate since Monday (6/8).

Monitoring and checking are carried out by ports unit's integrated team and KSOP

Jakarta Dishub's Regional Port Operator Unit (UPPD) I Head, Maruli mentioned, in order to tightening access to Thousand Islands, his side divided 3 zones in the Kaliadem Port's checkpoint. Those are public zone, limited zone, and sterile zone.

In public zone, passengers will be ensured to wear mask. Furthermore, passengers from outside of Jabodetabek area will be checked whether they bring SIKM documents or not.

Limited zone is located in port's entrance where officers will check passengers' body temperature and health certificate. While sterile zone is an area where officers inspect the vessel safety equipment and ensure the passengers don't exceed 50 percent of the total capacity.

"Monitoring and checking are carried out by ports unit's integrated team and KSOP," he added, Tuesday (6/9).

Jakarta Dishub's Marine and Port Transportation Management Unit Head, Dedy Dwi Widodo conveyed, his side has operated all vessels to serve passengers for Kaliadem-Thousand Islands route.

"Yesterday, we transported 43 passengers to Thousand Islands. It was less than 50 percent of vessel's capacity. I think it needs to be socialized widely, because we just reopen this service after being closed for a long time," he stated.

His side also instructed personnel to spray ships with disinfectant before and after transporting passengers.

"Before boarding, passengers should wash their hands or use hand sanitizer," he closed.
