Entering transitional Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period, Jakarta Government reopens 16 green open spaces (RTH)s in Jakarta, including Lapangan Banteng Park in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

Lapangan Banteng Park has implemented health protocols

Based on Beritajakarta.id observation on the field, before entering the park, visitors were asked to fill guest book on the South Entrance of Lapangan Banteng Park. On the entrance, personnel also checked visitor's body temperature using thermal gun.

"Lapangan Banteng Park has implemented health protocols. Hopefully, visitors can enjoy this park with a safe and comfort feeling," said Arby Novianto, Pasar Baru Urban Village, Monday (6/15).

His side informed, Lapangan Banteng Park's management has provided 6 portable hand washing facilities on the right side of every entrance gates. According to the regulation of transitional PSBB, Lapangan Banteng Park is open at 5 AM-6 PM on weekdays. While on weekend, it is open at 5 AM-11 AM and 2 PM-6 PM .

"Temporarily, only jogging track facility that can be used at Lapangan Banteng Park. Other sports, such as aerobic exercise is not allowed yet because it is feared to cause crowd," he explained.

On the same location, Lapangan Banteng Park Security (Pamdal) Squad Commander (Danru), Mufti Rizal Siregar stated, there are around 3-5 personnel who are standby in each entrance gates. Besides, there are also 40 park personnel who take care of the plants in this park.

"Every visitor is required to wear mask when entering this area and maintain the cleanliness in the park. It is done to prevent the spread of COVID-19," he asserted.
