People from Various Regions Participate in KPKP's Virtual Training

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency holds virtual training with theme 'Optimizing City Grounds with Vertical Farming'.

There are 178 people who participate in this training

The use of technology during the COVID-19 pandemic makes it possible for participants from outside of Jakarta to participate in this virtual training.

Jakarta KPKP Agency's Agriculture Division Head, Mujiati stated, this virtual training is open to the public. In this chance, her side invited Slamet Budiarto, an urban farming practitioner from Vinca Nursery to be the speaker.

Vegetables and Fruits Planting Carried Out Simultaneously in 92 Locations

"There are 178 people who participate in this training by optimizing Vertical Farming method," said Mujiati, who also acted as one of the speakers in this virtual training, on Thursday (6/18).

According to her, participants were not only originated from Java Island, but also Jambi, South Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi.

"In this training, we give material about urban farming in Jakarta and how to develop urban farming by optimizing city grounds through vertical farming," she conveyed.

In addition to providing material and inviting speakers, her side also provided discussion and QnA sessions.

"In the end of the training, we hold a quiz. Participants who are able to answer the questions from our speakers will get the prize," she closed.
