Jakarta Satpol PP has formed a bicycle team, which is an acronym for the Bylaw Enforcement Unit to conduct public order control patrols along Jalan Sudirman and MH Thamrin.

According to Arifin, Head of Jakarta Satpol PP, the team had 20 personnel, comprising 10 male and 10 female members. They were patrolling on bicycles divided into two shifts, 6 AM to 2 PM and 2 PM to 10 PM.

"We want to enforce public order optimally, especially on protocol roads," he expressed, Monday (7/6).

He explained they were assigned to urge people and motorists not to park on the road, ojol (app-based motorcycle taxi) drivers do not park on the sidewalk or under the pedestrian bridge (JPO), including reminding them to implement COVID-19 prevention health protocol.

"I have instructed my team to urge people humanistically about rules to the public," he stated.
