Eight officers of Pulogadung Sub-district Environmental (LH) Executing Unit, East Jakarta have monitored the use of eco-friendly shopping bags in a number of minimarts on Jalan Gading Raya, Jalan Pisangan Timur, Jalan Balai Pustaka and other points.

Every day we can visit six minimarts to hold socialization

Pulogadung Sub-district LH Executing Unit Head Setio Margono said most minimarts had obeyed the rules in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 142/2020. His side also put up banners in minimart areas.

"Every day we can visit six minimarts to hold socialization," he expressed, Friday (7/10).

He added there were 74 outlets in Pulogadung area. From that number, 44 out of them had passed through monitoring and education stages.

It would be conducted gradually by targeting minimarts. While traditional markets were still under the authority of East Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency.
