Commemorating National Children's Day, Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency distributed assistance in form of 514 packages for the specific needs of women and children of underprivileged families.

Those packages were distributed to underprivileged families in Tanah Tinggi, Kalibaru, Kapuk, Cilandak Barat, Manggarai, Jatinegara, Penggilingan, Cipinang Urban Villages.
Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head, Tuty Kusumawati informed, each packages consist of hand sanitizer, vitamin, biscuit, sanitary pads, milk, baby diaper, body wash, shampoo, telon oil, and large cloth bag.

Because staple food packages have been distributed by President, Social Ministry, and Jakarta Government," she conveyed, Saturday (7/11).
In providing this assistance, her side used 70 percent of deconcentration fund from Empowerment, Women, and Children Protection Ministry which allocated to handle COVID-19 in Jakarta through PPAPP Agency.
"The targeted families who receive the assistance refer to Dasa Wisma's Carik Data. In this distribution, we also involve Dasa Wisma cadres who understand and know the whereabouts of the targeted families," she explained.
For information, she added, special assistance for women and children were distributed door-to-door simultaneously by Dasa Wisma cadres today.
"We have dropped the assistance yesterday in all registered urban villages, as well as the receiver's data, by name by address. Then, Dasa Wisma cadres distribute it to the targeted families," she closed.
