2,447 Qurban Animals Checked in South Jakarta

From July 13 to July 15, South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency has checked 2,447 sacrificial animals (qurban) in 36 animal shelters in South Jakarta.

We only found 1 sick cow in Pancoran from the inspection

South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan mentioned, total 1,433 cows, 792 goats, and 222 sheep have been checked.

"We only found 1 sick cow in Pancoran from the inspection," he informed, Thursday (7/16).

In this inspection, his side checked animals' health and physical condition, animal health certificate (SKKH), and ensured COVID-19 health protocols was implemented by the sellers.

"We ensure the sellers to provide hand washing facility, wear mask, maintain physical distancing, and also check their body temperature," he stated.

His side deployed 29 personnel to evaluate animal shelters condition, starting from rooftops, safety fences, food and drink, as well as entrance and exit gates for customers.

"In the future, we will hold inspection in all sub-districts," he closed.
