Regent Inaugurates Integrated Mangrove Beach Tourism Park of Lancang Island

Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad inaugurated the Integrated Mangrove Beach Tourism Park in Lancang Island, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, on this Wednesday (7/22). This is a 3-in-1 tourist destination that consists of beach, corals, and mangrove forest which previously often used by tourists for fishing.

This tourist destination offers the island's natural beauty

According to him, this tourism park was initiated and created by local residents of Lancang Island together with urban village apparatuses who want to make the island to be beautiful like other residential tourist islands.

"This tourist destination offers the island's natural beauty," he added.

Pari Island Urban Village Head, Mahtum explained, this tourist destinations has been built since February. It is expected to attract more tourists to visit Lancang Island.

"We hope this tourist destination can improve local residents' economy," he mentioned.

The similar hope also conveyed by one of Lancang Island's community leaders, Asnawi. By opening the new tourist destination, he hopes tourists not only visit the island for fishing, but also enjoying the beach and mangrove forest.

"We are ready to help urban village apparatuses to take care the environment," he asserted.
