West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency checked 210 sacrificial animals (qurban) at Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta.

Today, there are 210 qurban animals checked consisting of 190 goats and 20 sheep

Kembangan Sub-district KPKP Unit Agriculture Instructor, Ghausal Akbar mentioned, his side checked qurban animals from its teeth, eyes, feets and other body parts to ensure it is healthy. The examination was carried out in four animal shelters on Jl. Kembangan Raya, Jl. Kompleks DKI and 2 locations on Jl. Joglo Raya.

"Today, there are 210 qurban animals checked consisting of 190 goats and 20 sheep," he informed, on Tuesday (7/28).

From that examination, 6 goats were not fit to be qurban animals thus it should be separated from the others and not allowed to be sold. Besides, personnel also checked health protocols implementation in animal shelters.

"In this operation, we found 6 animals that were not fit for qurban because they were underage and disabled," he conveyed.
