July 13-23, Central Jakarta KPKP Checked 2,307 Qurban Animals

In July 13-23 period, Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency has checked health condition of 2,307 sacrificial animals (qurban).

Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Acting Head (Plt), Suharini Eliawati conveyed, her side has checked 2,307 animals on that period, consisting of 457 cows and 1,850 goats in Kemayoran, Sawah Besar, Senen, Cempaka Putih, Menteng, Johar Baru, Tanah Abang, and Gambir.

"There are healthy and sick animals. We provide medicine if the animal is sick. Besides, we also asked for animal health certificates (SKKH) from the origin areas to the sacrificial animals traders," she informed, Friday (7/24).

In detail, her side has checked condition of 576 animals in Kemayoran, 189 animals in Sawah Besar, 456 animals in Senen, 248 animals in Cempaka Putih, 81 animals in Menteng, 122 animals in Johar Baru, 418 animals in Tanah Abang, and 217 animals in Gambir.

"We also check the restrictions on entry and exit lanes at qurban animal shelters. Including the hand washing facilities and health protocols implementation," she mentioned.
